The Millimetres 2 Mountains Foundation has enabled people to get into the outdoors and rehabilitate from their trauma through adventure.
Isabel's journey with Millimetres 2 Mountains was deeply emotional and the change to her mental well-being and physical lifestyle has completely changed since joining the charity as a beneficiary. Through the time we spent with Isabel, she felt able to completely open up about the biggest impact in her life, and we were very privileged to capture that and share it.
Every year, eight beneficiaries complete the programme, and we create a short film for each eight of the beneficiaries. Here are teasers from their films.
Throughout the years documenting the progress for the beneficiaries, we have had the opportunity to make stand-alone pieces of content of their events and challenges. Such as rock climbing on the sea cliffs in Cornwall is just one part of their experience towards transformation.
CONTRIBUTOR IMPACT
This was Sarisher Mann's first time presenting a long-form documentary film, supporting in the production and distribution of the film. This has provided immense support for her organisation Sustainable Alpine Tourism Initiative, allowing her audience and network to grow through their connection to protecting the mountain regions.
