PROJECT SALT RUN
SUMMARY
Our role was to develop this story into a documentary film format to promote and supporting the wider fundraising goals of the project. We produced this to help with the crowdfunding campaign so the team can travel to India and complete this fundraising challenge.
SYNOPSIS
The Inland Customs Line was built by the East India Company to exploit the Indian people by taxing salt, land and everything in between. They took everything they could on the basis that the East India Company shareholders would make a profit. This is a law that requires businesses to priorities profit-first, even at the expense of people and the planet. Hannah, at 40-years old, will take on a challenge to run the 4,200km route, to change the system that stood for so long, and finally eradicate business exploitation for good.
