AQUA Carpatica

For Recycling Week in the UK, AQUA Carpatica wanted to educate young people about the importance of recycling through an engaging activity using plastic-waste. A class of 10-years had the opportunity to bring in their plastic waste from home and create a mural display in their school. The creative task that was given to the students helped them learn and appreciate the importance of recycling and understand the implications of single-use plastic.
RESULTS
The social media engagement reached 95% with an audience of 10,000 people.
90% of people watched the video until the very end.
CONTRIBUTOR IMPACT
All of the children and contributors expressed they understood the implications of single-use plastic. They made a commitment in the classroom to their teachers and peers they would encourage their families to recycle single-use plastics at home, and share their knowledge about the implications of single-use plastic.
